Mosque has a special place as one of the significant aspects of Iranian-Islamic art and architecture during Qajar dynasty. Among important examples in the era of Fath-Ali Shah Qajar is the Borujerd Imam mosque in Lorestan. This study attempts to identify the structural architecture and classify the arts tied with the building of mosque. It tries to answer these questions that what are the most important architectural ornaments used in the Imam mosque? What are the characteristics of its structure and content? The research method was descriptive- analytic and data was collected in the field and library. All ornaments reflected in the building were investigated through fieldwork and examined statistically and the analysis of findings was carried out qualitatively. The results indicate that building is a Soltani mosque and its structure is a market mosque which consists of most Iranian-Islamic arts such as tiling, carving and vaults ribbed. The prevailing Iranian motifs and the scripts such as Nastaliq, Kufic and Thuluth are used. Interestingly the prevailing contents of inscriptions include the Shia concepts and the names of infallible Imams as the symbols of the Shia art
