Among the artifacts of Safavid and Qajar, which show the artistic taste and ingenuity of the artists of this period, kashkuls are an example of these works. Dervishes kashkul or more Gnostic, mystical wine ship, the artwork and one of his tools and part of Sufi culture and life and piety, which appears to coincides with the genesis of Sufism during the safavid period. During the Qajar period oit reached its peak considering construction, application and beauty perspectives. An example of this effort and artistic design is seen in the style of the prince sadriddin aqa Khan’s series related to this era. India (archipelago) is orgin of kashkul. It came to Iran and spread due the relationship between the Dervishes and Sufis of Iran and India. This article introduces kashkul, kashkul collection of the Sadr al-Din Aga Khan as well as checking and analyzing it from a technical, aesthetic and historical perspective. Meanwhile, two western scholars (Anthony welsh and James Allen) have two different views on the design date of the building and its maker artist. Anthony Welch states that this work belongs to the 11th century and the Safavid period according to his comments and James Allen considers it to belong to the nineteenth century and the Qajar era. This article is a fundamental type and descriptive-analytic research method which is the method of collecting library information and searching in museums.
